I'm going to visit a friend in North Carolina on Thursday...should be fun! I plan to relax on the beach and drink too much!

HAve a nice time in NC, I went to a Lacrosse game on Sunday, my first one. I was a little bored, I enjoy Baseball or Football more. Well hope you have a safe and relaxing trip... don't get to burned....

had fun at the air show.. some metal thing came flying off of one the F16 .. so they stopped the show early

Holy crap! 
The price of gas is $2.69 per gallon!!! It took $30 to fill up my little Saturn!!! I haven't even attempted to fill up the truck...I might have to take out a second mortgage on the house to do that!!!

I was here in chicago for about a year before I found a studio that I really liked. And now I'm hooked.. so I pretty much haven't painted since I found this awesome studio.. can't get enough of that clay!
I have a wood firing trip coming up in Sept where a group of us from the studio get together & basically camp out & fire our stuff in this huge wood fire kiln. So we stoke this kiln for about 6 days (and nights) straight, at about 2400 degrees! Its the best experience I've ever had.. truthfully.. ever!

Monday is " Victory over Japan " day but RI is the only state left that still considers it a holiday....I think it is actually called Victory Day now. Other than retail , the banks are closed, we don't get any mail and most people have the day off...go figure !
