AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I apologise now because I'm about to vent! If you don't want to hear me moan about how shit everything is then stop reading now.
Right, you still with me?? Cool, where to start?
Firstly, the clutch on my car had been making a horrible noiseI so took my car into the garage to get the work done, a job I was hopeing was only going to cost around 450 but when it was all done it ended up costing me 650. Bollocks. I used to work on cars about 10 years ago and asked t o see all the bits they'd replaced. It was work which needed doing so i know I've not been ripped off (well, not THAT ripped off) At least I've got my car sorted I thought.
Later Friday evening I had a text from Claire (my ex) saying she wanted to come round and get the rest of her stuff from the flat at some point. I've got a busy week at work this week so so she came round Saturday and we spent the day dividing all the stuff and packing boxes and moving stuff in and out of storage. It was bloody knackering but good to get it done. What it did mean was I no longer had any cutlery/crockery/dvd player/vaccume cleaner/iron and tonnes of other essential stuff.l. Went to curry's to buy a lot of the electical stuff, like microwave etc which cost me another 250.
While I was doing all of this my car started fucking up again. This time the engine kept cutting out for no reason. It did it three times in the one day so I've now had to book it into the garage and I've got no idea how much that will cost to fix. Grrrr!
Anyway, without a car I'm basically screwed for work, I have to drive places for my job. Thankfull my dad works round the corner from where I was due today and he gave me a lift as well as taking me to IKEA this evening so I could buy all the other houshold stuff I need to start living like a normal human again. Another 150 on shit I didn't want to buy.
When I got home I realised I'd picked up the wrong bookshelf, the one I'd got was way wider than I wanted and way shorter. Pain in the arse but it would do. I built the thing and put my books on it and one of the Effing legs gave way and the shelves are fucked. I've now got to wait til my car is fixed before I can take it back and try to get the shelves I want. I got reall angy at this point and just threw my books in the corner, went and bought some fish and chips and had a beer.
My dad has been a real legend, he's off to France tomorrow with my step mum and they've left me her fiesta until they're back (not big enough for the shelves before you ask) but at least I can get to work for the next couple of days.
I'm feeling loads better now but just really pissed that so far this weekend I've had to spend over 1,000 on shit I wasn't expecting. it's all has all had to go on the credit card. i know I'm going to be paying it off for months to come. I also just felt really hard done by, so many stupid little things just kept going wrong. I hate cliches but the 'it never rains but it pours' one felt really right for my weekend.
If you've made it this far then thanks for reading, I'm going to go to bed and hopefully have a damn good sleep.

It sucks when that happens why does everything always go wrong at once so you end up paying a fortune
Fish and chips and a beer always seem to make everything better tho' lol
You take care and i hope your luck improves
Hope things are good,
