It's been sometime since I have updated, but there is a reason. Don't worry, it's not like I;m dead or nothin' 
It's mainly because my pretty sucky job at Dixons leaves me with very little worth talking about. I know this sounds snobbish, but I am the intellectual superior of most of my workmates; I only say this because they all seem to resent both my university education and my actual interests, but often make fun of me for it. As a result, I have grown faintly snobbish at them. So the quest for proper work continues - I really can't wait to escape Dixons, I really cannot. Well, it gives me money until then!
I have been channelling my various life frustrations into comics, and I have been spending like crazy. My collection includes:
Astonishing X-Men Volume 1 22
Ultimate Spiderman Hardbacks Vols 6,7 and the Clone Saga - 20 each
Runaways Vol 2 & 2 - 6.45 each
The Amazing Spiderman Vol 1, 2, 3 and 6 (Stracynszki written ones)
Spidergirl, Spidergirl TPB VOl. 2 and 3 - 12.99 and 5.99 each.
Can't be fucked with Batman. At the moment DC are running a competition to see who can make him the most insane (I jest, but I don't know how much crazier they can make the guy). Though Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder is great - also fucking hilarious if only for the sight of Black Canary kicking the shit out of a bar full of Irish drunks
And I it's rehabilitating Robin for me too. Pissed me off before, now he's just a scared kid that Batman kidnapped. Much lolz. Astonishing X-Men is good too; and I am in LOVE with Emma Frost, bloody hell, who isn't?
*sigh* She's amazing, huh?
You may wonder why I am ogling comic book babes, but I'd rather be doing that than moping around the house mbemoaning my lack of girlfriendage. Besides, my brother just broke up with his, so I'm actually quietly relieved I haven't got a girlfriend. There's also the fact that, when I do (and note I said when, not if - improved attitutde there for you) get a girlfriend, she'll have to be tolerant of my comic love and my desire to write a lot.
Oh, and I went to a comic party last week. I'll upload the photos at some point
