Dissertations are eternally dull. I am too bored. My PC with a DVD player is bust, so I'm communicating via the medium of laptop without DVD player or games playing apparatus. I have spent most of the day in my room, and oh GOD I am bored.

My ex has not always been very good to me over the last few days - She told me 'I still love you' during a conversation we had a few days post break-up. I think as anyone knows, when you're trying to put into effect a break-up that has to happen for the best of both of you, that's a bad time to decide to say it. Now, I know people cite romance and say 'Why don't you get back together'?

Well, we can't. It's just not good for either of us. We've been arguing too much, and the type of relationship she wanted was not the one I wanted. She said herself she felt we got on better when we were just friends. Of course I still care for her, but I feel better now I'm not in the relationship.

Remember last time when I freaked out about singledom? I really don't care at the moment. I simply feel like enjoying myself - and that does not mean sleeping with every woman in sight. It just means taking a break from relationships for a while. I'm not a man-slut, so I won't be silly :p
