SO : I went back to work next day and both of them were still outside the stairs but it had been a long cold night and ants ate most of the crackers. sometime after lunch i went out to check on them and although the day was much warmer i found that one baby mouse had "gone to the great cheese wheel in the sky". This guy had dried out and was back about his business hopping along the wall and nibbling at whatever caught his eye. I was happy to see him enjoying the sunny day even though i had to go back and punch a stupid time clock.
