So I got sacked... got a speeding ticket in the company van with guests in the vehicle. Funny thing is, I'm not fired from the hotel... just the bell desk. I had an interview in banquets this morning, and I'll find out if I've got the job this afternoon.
If all else fails, there's plenty of work in Banff.
Truth be told, I'm kinda happy it happened. I got on the wrong side of certain managers; been getting ridden pretty hard last few weeks; and the hours are barely enough to cover my expenses.
I've never felt so good about getting fired... and with all the gossip, I'm practically a legend on property
