Oh! this blog is very special, I am a person moved by the music, is something very important for me since from teenager shaped my personality and choices. In addition I have always tried to have a deep knowledge, especially in Black Metal. But today I come to bring you ELIWAGAR a one-woman band created by Runahild in december 2006.

The main source of inspiration of Eliwagar is the heathen spirituality and the ancient land of Hyperborea - the land beyond the northern wind - which was known as a peaceful place where people lived in harmony with nature. It was said that there were 6 months of summer when the sun would never sets down and 6 months of winter when the darkness would be painted with the beauty of the northern lights. The land was wealthy and gave good harvests. Runahild always felt a strong connection to this mystical land and wish to revive its spirit through her music, to remind how we are connected to nature, how we are within nature and nature within us and that our beautiful earth already bears all the gifts and all that we need if we just remember how to live in harmony with her and with each other...
