Found the last of the old mans reloading equipment which gives me a good starting base, just need to build a work bench and buy the components for the empty shell cases.
Finished building one of my AR-15 lowers last week, parts list as follows-
Double Star Stripped lower and stock kit, DPMS Parts kit, Hogue grip, Magpul ASAP sling adapter end plate and MOE trigger guard, and CAA stock saddle. Total so far $304.07.
Put my Bushmaster upper on it to see how it looked, pretty cool looking but not wut im going for with either of my current 2 builds.
This is the upper (YHM black diamond carbine) I was going to buy but now im going to build 2 of them with the suppressor attachable flash hider they have and use EXO coated internals from FailZero. Will be running a RCO combat optic w/ quick detach mount on both builds as well.
Last nights monthly Marine party was great as usual, my buddy with the art skills is drawing up a new piece for every month for each Marine in our group. Last night he unveiled the second one he did which is dedicated to myself and my gen of Marines. Will be getting a slightly moded one tattooed on my left arm hopefully soon.
One of my other projects is building a box for a permanent boots and rifle memorial to honor the fallen at every party.
Wish I could afford to do all these projects and still have a lot of money saved up for my vacation in Sept but wut can u do in this economy?
