Linda, my stepmom, is shaving her head today. The chemo is causing her to lose her hair pretty quickly, so shaving seems better than letting it all fall out in patches. I don't think she has a good head to pull of the shaved look. I think dad has gotten her a hat but i'd like to take her wig shopping. It is really hard for them to look positively on things like losing hair. Of course it is! I think i would have a hard time too. I try to take a positive spin on it though. I said now you can try a wig and look totally different, try to have a little fun with it. Then they say, "I never thought of it that way.", so hopefully it helps a little bit. She seems to be in pretty good spirits, but i also think that a lot of that is her trying to be strong for my dad. She is getting very worn out. I just hope she makes a full recovery.
