Who got screwed over at work today? Oh yeah, that would be me.
A few months ago I asked for paid holidays and for sick days next year. She said she would discuss it with her husband and give me a memo. She never did and then i ended up not getting paid for thanksgiving. So I asked her about that and she gave me a memo today.
I get Thanksgiving day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day paid, but the day after Christmas, even though we are closed. So if i want to get paid for that day, then i have to go in and be there all by myself doing nothing. AND the best part is, no sick days. WTF?! I've been there for 3 years now and she can't even give me sick days???
So now the dicision i have to make:
~Do I look for a new job...OR
~Do I keep this job, take mondays off next year like i was planning to, to work on Wickedcrib.com and hope that with in the next 6 months to a year I will be working full time from home.
The advantage to staying at this job is that I would be able to take those mondays off and devote it to Wickedcrib.com. I don't see that being possible if I switch to a new job now. unless that is something that i make clear when applying, that i am NOT available on mondays.
One thing is for sure, I can't wait to get sick again, to go in all sick and gross and refuse to go home. Then lick her fucking coffee cup when no one is looking
