The bolded text above is from an installation in the Art Gallery of New South Wales by Lawrence Weiner. I first saw it when I was about 18, it has stuck with me, although I had remembered it as placed here and there. What is it? It is an idea. To me it is poetic, a treasure map of the world.
This week I had two men hit on me. One by asking me if I liked anal sex. Thanks but no thanks Charley. The other by clasping onto my hand, attaching himself at my lips, and not letting go. He was nice but I find that a bit full-on.
