A truly wonderful drunken rollick last night. I didn't get to meet as many people as I would have liked. I'm a bit shy of just waltzing up and chatting to people, my loss!
But I did get to meet and converse with the ever-so sweet SuicideDoggie (also his sister Zoe, the charisma runs in the family), the inimitable rainwolfkin, the absolutely charming saintadatha (whose time I completely monopolised and who put up with my drunkenness in a most gentlemanly fashion), the incorrigible bateman,& the handsome Adthrawn.
And it is always a pleasure to see the sweethearts that are Forkandles & Tarqu1n.
Next time I am going to corner kittyp!
Maybe we should have a breakfast meet next time? I think maybe a little less loudness and riot could be good for actually talking to people. Or it could be that I am an old codger.
Today my head is very much worse for wear. I've made it breakfast, taken it for a walk around the Heath, given it freshly squeezed melon juice, and still it refuses to work properly.
So I think I shall nap again right now, then I'm off to my surrogate family home to watch 6 hours of Ingmar Bergman's The Kingdom... do you thnk that will help? Nah, me neither.

How are you? my only story for you is this: I was going to LA this weekend for a friend's birthday. I was gonna bring a girl named Natasha I've been seeing for a few weeks. At 1AM the night before I was supposed to leave I get a call from this guy who says "Hey, this is Natasha's boyfriend and I wanna know why you're taking my girl to LA."
She had never told me about a boyfriend. Needless to say I didn't take her to LA.

Perhaps (aside from the picnic/rounders) a we should hold a Sunday brunch 'meet' ?
