How is it that this clement weather can do things to my mind? (Dr Rickets come back! I'm sure you'd have some insight to shed.) Beautiful warmth and sun, a slight breeze, and suddenly I have this intangible feeling of excitement, optimism, good things around every corner. And xmas as a kid, Sydney summers, santa on his way, these all seem to be present in this Spring after the sleet of recent weeks.
Part of the appeal of London for me is the way people *really get into* the warm weather. We know we have to make the most of it, because it can be so short-lived. And we've just put up with months of grey skies and rain and snow and sleet.
I am trying my best to enjoy the ride. That sounds silly, the ride is fun! What's not to enjoy?! Letting go of worries and cares is something I need to get better at.
