Nothing too long but longing itself...

I really can't keep up that kind of bitterness for any length of time. A few years ago it was a kind of companion, but the self-doubt that comes along with it is just not my scene anymore.

My optimism has taken a little bit of a blow. I believe that I ought to give that glimmering a rest, just forget about it for a while. I'm not sure if I can.

And left to my own devices, I probably will.
