So, birthday madness this weekend.

First the kids get here Friday night and wake me early Saturday morning (the 2nd was my birfday) to give me their gift. They had a gift bag full of things from their room they thought I'd like. It included: Two small ghosts made for Halloween a few years ago, a yo-yo that doesn't light up anymore, A Bloom County book (Night of the Mary Kay Commandos featuring SMELL-O-TOONS!), A Star Wars watch from Burger King and some stickers as well as a hand written card from my daughter wishing me the best birthday ever I love my kids.

Breakfast at IHOP. Love that place for its fun value and no one cares if you act like dorks with your kids.

So, off to Borders and ToysRUs to spend some gift cards they have (and to buy myself an HTML book and a new WarHammer 40K book to read). Good time...

Then, over to a friend's house (thank you Tammy and Derek for rocking so much) so our kids could chill and play together. We had beers and BBQ and they even went and got me a great little cake when they found out it was my day of days. Very cool.

By the way, you haven't lived until you've seen a sign interpreter demonstrating how she taught a sex ed class to deaf children.. Hysterical stuff.

Then, today, I get a box from atomicant. The shipping label is from www.PORNPHOTOS.com... And reads in huge lettres "ENCLOSED ARE THE XXX PORN PHOTOS YOU ORDERED!!!" I laughed my ass off. Thanks for the Warhammer stuff, buddy!

I'll hopefully post pics of all that happened that weekend and also some of the minis in a more finished phase...
