So I haven't been around much for a few reasons: My computer is turning into a piece of crap and I need to replace my rather corrupted hard drive... Also, work has been extremely busy of late. I've taken on a second division of people for a few weeks while another Chief is on leave. They are in bad shape admin-wise. I'm doing what I can to get them where they need to be with the few people they have and to also fix a serious problem with the weapons qualification program on the ship. Its been a learning ecperience, which is good, and I'm being noticed by some of my higher ups as having on taken on a losing battle and actually making ground with it. Which is very good. And, the fact that I'm helping with the weapons qualifications means I'll have to spend alot of time on the range with various weapons... Damn the bad luck

Anyway, I'm doing okay. Feeling pretty good about things, but still fighting the occasional bout of depression. Nothing too bad, just things I'm sure will continue to heal over time: My Father's death, my ex-girlfriend whom I still miss greatly.

Regardless, things are going well. And how are you all doing, my peeps?
