In good news, I spent 20 or so glorious hours in Toronto. Drove up Monday and was met by the always delightful radiofrank. He took me to York where we ate some fantastic Thai food and wandered about (or should I say aboot) the snow and slush covered by ways. After that it was off to the Unicorn, a fantastic little pub with a warm fireplace and cold Guiness on draft. I was introduced to a bevy of SG'ers that make that place their dysfunctional little home for karaoke and was made to feel at home right away. Fan-fucking-tastic time was had. A thanks goes out to all those that were there: Lucy, Tekky, syco13, 2Low, DoctorSkinny, KismetsSugar, Swindy, Dusti, Elana, Lisseth and of course, radiofrank. I thank them for not throeing sharp and/or heavy things at me while I sang "Punk Rock Girl"
Thanks to all of you, the coolest of cats, and as well to the various boyfriends, girlfriends, friends, and hangers on that made the night one to remember. I had a blast. Pics to follow once I get back to San Diego and can download some shit.
And in other news, I cannot get her out of my heart or head... I may have fucked up and I emailed her. Probably a bad move, but its done and unfortunately, yahoo! has no recall feature that I know of. So, its done. I emailed her. I was all shity and sad and missing her and not understanding how I can still love her and she can still love me but we can't make it work... I suck at life. And apparently at love as well. Whatever...
For fuck's sake, someone get their asses to San Diego and sweep me off my feet with good looks, good laughs and good sexin'. Soon, please, kthnx.

Okay,I just got back from a local show with my brother and his wife. What a fucking blast!
Pretty much skipped the first band and caught my brother's friends, Johhny La Rock and Mushmouth. After that it was Patent Pending. Very fucking cool group of guys. Spoke to them breifly and they seemed very cool and genuinely happy to be able to just play music. They plan on being in San Diego within the next few months, so I will be waiting. After that... Oh dear God... I saw THIS GUY:

Subrosa, look out. I'm taking over as Mr Minor Internet Celebrity. I met THAT FUCKING GUY! He performed the above song and something else. No idea what it was... I had to leave to go smoke. COuldn't take it anymore.
After Fucking Denny, it was MC Lars. This guy was the shit. Fucking fantastic. Anyone who raps about Nintendo and Star Wars as well as the Bush administration while sampling Tetris and 2001 is allright in my book. I also got an autographed copy of his CD
Lastly was Suburban Legends. Not bad, but ska-punk isn't really my thing. Still ahd a good time listening to them though.
MC Lars was easily the high light of the night followed by Patent Pending. Check them out if you get a chance.
