Okay, DO NOT use the fingerprint scan as a security measure on the new Samsung S9+ without making sure that you HAVE BOTH a security password set AND a passcode - YOU WILL get LOCKED OUT, and the hard rest DOES NOT WORK.
If you use the fingerprint scan and shut down your phone, then restart it, you can't unlock it with your fingerprint. It will prompt you to enter a password. I never set up a security password, only a passcode.
Then I tried so many times, even Google had locked me out.

shit, what a bad thing, I have the samsung a8 and I have no problem but it gives me the option to lock in addition to the fingerprint brand, how bad you have that problem
