I have a sortof side thing going now with a film marketing group. i participated in the neilson's television thing a while back, and ended up being marked for some film focus group... so i watch a lot of movies for free now in the theatre, but i actually have to fill out forms and shit afterwards, and some of the movies are shitty. really shitty. anywho, watched hostel ii tonight as part of this... it was better than hostel imho, if simply for a higher standard of film-making, but still on the pornographic side of torture-horror which i totally expect from roth. some teenage-ish girls snuck in at the beginning of the film and in the opening dream sequence one of them flipped the fuck out and they ran away, that was the best part for me- watching a tween flip out and literally run away from an image on a movie screen. put that in your text message and smoke it.

picked up comics and vinyl today... local 9, wyrms 3&4, last of the mohicans 1, fell 8, dmz 19, blackgas2 2, girls 24. Ziggy Stardust, some zztop, the supremes, linda rondstat, the four tops, bob seger, benny goodman... good stuff, even pulled a 7-hour overtime shift at work to boot.

i'm tired. vinyl is cheaper than itunes, and it's got soul.
