at my recent 1-year evaluation they gave me a year to accomplish my goal of developing an access database and getting my workflow streamlined at my current position that i took over in march... i think i might be able to get it done this weekend. don't tell my boss, i'll try and milk this for as much slack time as possible - it's fun being one of the only really tech-literate people at work, they think that things i can do in 5 minutes take forever... powerpoint presentation, i can do it in 10-15 minutes depending on all things involved... my coworkers take 4 hours... excel file that does calculations, depending on complexity, 30 minutes... my coworkers - 2 days if they can figure it out at all.

i be pimp, although i be pimp that is severely underpaid... but i live .04 miles from work, i have a good job, and my stress levels aren't as high as they were when i work for HMO SATAN DEVIL EVIL BALLS. i'm slowly realizing just how much of an asset i am to a business, and how i can exploit that once i get done with my master's. then i will be superpimp, and i will live in the jungle and kill things with my bare hands.
