so i've been wondering why so many people are into Chuck Palahniuk... granted I like fight club and all that... but yeah, i read lullabye in about 45 minutes yesterday- reminds me of the r.l. stine books i read when i was a kid. chuck's not particularly that good of a writer... has some decent one-liners and a fairly consistant theme of breaking modern culture in order to restore something more transendental and base... but yeah. i don't think i'll be seeking out any more of his books. myeh.
between the library and netflix i'm punching in at around 11 movies a week and 5 books a week, along with a variety of magazines. although it's strange that the library puts graphic novels in with non-fiction. i should probably consider the prospect of real people again, teh hermit-ness is beginning to scare me.
and i'm sick again... have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to hopefully understand what all is wrong with my body... three sinus infections in four weeks, along with migraines and da-long headaches just isn't cutting it. i'm pretty sure it's my blood pressure. i'm just so fucking tired.
