so for the past few days this local radio jock has been fighting with his newsgirl... her son (i think around 6 years old or so) punched every kid at the OSU/Michigan party they went to, and the jock was making statements monday morning to the effect that bad kids are a product of bad parenting. she got flustered and threw her cup of hot coffee on him.
1) listening to this reminds me why i can't deal with a large corss-section of women... i'm sorry, but the vast majority of all y'all are crazy. this newsgirl was going through every method of neutralization and denial to cover up her knee-jerk reaction stemming from self-doubt over her own capabilities as a parent. becoming increasingly emotional does not resolve anything,
i know personally it makes me completely shut off from the person i'm fighting with and begin my patented *hate sequence*... crying is only a sign that i'm right, i'm winning, and that it's time to go in for the kill.
2) while the constant bickering is entertaining, if i were the jock i would have immediately fired the newsgirl for throwing coffee on me... it's a form of physical violence that should not be tolerated in the workplace. hell, depending on how awake i was when i got hit with hot coffee i might have jumped the console and tussled.
