well, i don't have strep throat- this is just a virus. so it shall soon pass... but i did find out bad news at the health center. my blood pressure is all wonky. if it doesn't come down by next week they are going to medicate me 
looks like i won the genetic lottery and got the same bum ticker as my grandpa and uncle. i guess my future holds some cardiovascular distress unless i start living right, right now. so i've started living right, i'm no longer drinking, no longer taking in stimulants like caffiene, and bumping up my exercise to get my bodyfat down...
...hopefully i can conquer this without medication, but at least i realize this is a lifelong battle now... my grandpa died of congenital heart failure, my uncle is on the heart transplant waiting list, if my blood pressure remains elevated it could be a warning sign for an early heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure according to the doctor. yay.
