Sometimes I wish I did something else for a living, like getting paid for doing nothing, that would totally work for me. But until that particular miracle occurs or I win the lottery I'm stuck in a kitchen. I suppose the bonus is I get to play with fire an sharp knives every day.
My ink is healing very well, just very itchy at present, I go on Wednesday to book the next sitting. Should be under three hours and it's done. I am dreading an appointment on the 30th of this month. I'm getting some letter work done on the inside of my left arm, the sentence "I just want something I can never have" in a ransom note style, to tie into my existing ink. I'm not looking forward to the pain to be honest but will go through with it regardless. After that it's a Sacred Heart on my left inside forearm on the 14th of July and then I'm trying to find a good owl design for my outside right forearm.
Have a long few weeks ahead of me as I start to cover shifts for minions that are taking leave, combined with what is turning out to be a good summer it's going to be rather stressful and tiring but money is money at the end of the day and I do like me some money.
Right now I'm going to go take a shower and maybe watch a movie, might play some Prototype, should probably eat something too, going to be a long, hot day in the kitchen tomorrow so I should really try this sleep thing.
Here's a little something for the Christians that hang around the high street and seem intent on "saving" me. What they should really ask is will their god save them from me when I stop being so nice about it?
