I'm bad enough that looking at a girl I KNOW was photoshopped simply makes me wish I was beautiful enough naturally to look that "perfect." How sick is that? And that would be why I'm trying to get past it...it's just utterly obsurd.
Grrr, I hate when I don't just listen to myself. You know?

If you looked at my profile info at all you'll notice that I'd rather discuss theology or sociolingustics than fashion. I shop at Target and have a difficult time spending over $30 on pants or shoes (and I wouldn't spend that much if cheaper clothes weren't also crap quality). I have always dispised materialism, greed, and shallowness. It's really the anti-me, hehe.
Still doesn't make it less painful to hate yourself for what you think you aren't. For what you believe you lack. Even if you KNOW you don't actually lack anything.
All concepts are subjective, for they are fabricated by human minds to bring order to their world. As such, every truth you hold holds that truth because you put that meaning to it. We are truly in control of our own contentment with our own lives. Perception is everything.
