I have what i think will be the final session tomorrow with the mediator who is trying to help my wife and I determine a reasonable post-divorce custody plan for our two kids. The whole process has been underway since October. I suppose when a couple divorces, the partners naturally assume the process will go decently. After all, we were longtime partners, have two great kids together, mainly saw eye to eye, etc blah. So how did thinvs get so sideways, so convoluted, so costly, so fucking ridiculous? Is there such a thing as an easy or reasonable divorce?
