I know the title of this blog is probably misleading because you are probably thinking it's some huge drama lol. However, simply put, it's about my hair. (I know you were thinking it was about me and stitch lol)
I recently cut my hair and honestly, it's not even THAT drastic. But it IS different. It's only about an inch shorter and I have bangs..which...I've always had but just never straight across, they've always been kind of more side bangs...regardless I'm having a complete love hate relationship with them.
I wake up one day feeling horrible I cut it and another day loving the way they look. Sadly I think the hate is winning. Guys may not understand, or maybe you will but a woman's hair is sacred. It's important to us. Changing it can be good or bad.
I think because it IS a change and it IS different is what I'm struggling with. I don't like change but I needed it. I needed to do something. And I can still push them to the side and wear my hair like I always have, or I can wear them "anime" style...front , straight across. I have options at least.
But even options don't keep me from feeling like I made a mistake or that I just hate it. It doesn't help either that I've gotten mixed reviews from close friends and family....some who love it , some who say I'm pretty either way and don't care and the last group saying they like me better the other way (doesn't that just sound horrible lol)
Even people on social media have chimed in (of course without me asking for an opinion) saying they either love it or "I don't your new cut, do something".
So now I'm in this awkward stage of what do I do with it. I'm definitely going to let it grow out but ugh..this is killing me lol.
What do you guys think? Love it? Hate it? Feel the same as before?
