I have a serious question for you all of the utmost importance! !!
Jedi or Sith?
The question may seem simple and before you quickly jump to either side, I'd like to give you some info you may need in your choice.
The first thing is never think of this as Good vs Evil because that's not the case with these two. It would be more the case if we were talking about the Republic and The Empire. These two are completely different....and while they may be on either of those sides....that's not what we are choosing.
I'll give you some basic info without going off on tangents or getting too in depth lol I have a habit of doing that.
Let's start with the Jedi....the supposed good guys right? They kidnap young children from their families and brainwash them into their ways. Those children never get to see their families again. They don't have a choice....they are FORCED to join. Jedi are not allowed to marry, love, have any worldy possessions, nor any emotion at all. They hunt out Sith to murder them even when most sith haven't even bothered them. Jedi live like monks. It's a very harsh life with strict rules.
Now we have the sith. They are fueled by their emotions. And their side is more powerful. The force on the "dark side" is more powerful....it's been stated by many Jedi including Yoda. Sith are hunted down out of fear, not because of what they are doing. Sith did have an Academy once until they were nearly wiped out of galaxy. Now they use the rule of two (one master and one apprentice) and once the apprentice learns everything they can from their master....they kill him/her. It keeps their numbers strong and their knowledge safe. They are not out for world domination. They are out for correcting the wrongs done to them. They can love, hate, have passion and own anything they'd like. Most sith can hide the fact that they are force users from Jedi because of the ancient sith teachings. Sith do not actively hunt people down to murder them like Jedi unless given an order from whoever they are following at the time. Like sith assassins who are used for that exact thing.
Of course there are many more details I could get into but it would turn into a 10 page paper about the differences etc. We could talk about the new jedi order and the old republic...but it would take forever. And then there are Dark Jedis...which is a whole other topic lol.
So now.....make your choice!!
