Anyways....hi SG...How are you? I'm doing well. I apologize for the lack of....lets say...."activity" on the site for the past few weeks. Retail SUCKS during the holidays. And rather than going on a rant about how much I hate the holidays....I should say rather...WORKING during the holidays...I'll spare you and just say I've been super busy at work dealing with noobs.
What's been going on you ask? Well for starters work work and more work. Workity work work....Oh I said that already didn't I?!
Well..let's see.....The best group of SG girls EVER( @bixton @lucid @bradley @oliviablack @pax_ @myca ) got together for a Sunday brunch. Us Vegas girls are quite a clan. If it wasn't for SG, I wouldn't have met these amazing ladies and made such great friends with them. I'll be honest....I have never been part of a group of GIRLS, that have been so accepting of one another. There is no drama amongst our group, there is no jealousy or hatred, none of that typical "mean girl" crap....only love and acceptance of each other. It's quite wonderful.
We went to a not so quiet bistro here in Vegas, where they serve all day mimosas....yea, that CAN be a bad idea lol. It has the most AMAZING AWESOME jalapeno bacon EVER!! My god, it's delicious! Our waiter even gave us free desert....YUM! ^.^
I can't tell you enough how much fun it is when we get together. The Vegas clan of girls are seriously the best.
I miss these girls already!! But we will be planning more outings in the future so be prepared to see all the pictures!!
Oh! And also, most of us are headed to the BlackHeart Burleque show here in Vegas on the 28th....So come on by and support the girls and say hi! ^.^
What else? What else?....Oh um....This weeks blog homework from @charmaine and @lyxzen is "What is your favorite SG group and why?"
Well I suppose I could be obvious and go "OMG I LOVE THE SGVEGAS GROUP!" Because I was just talking about how amazing the girls here are....but I'll spare you :P I absolutely adore the Silliness group. There are amazing topics in there that are hilarious! Not to mention the amount of wit so many members have. I'm amazed at how funny you guys are!! If you're having a bad day....just pop into that group and read some of the topics....my favorites would include "Based on their profile pic, what is the person above you thinking" or "Replace any word in a movie title with the word Vagina".....lol I'm laughing just thinking about it. I also love the "Everything SG" group because it provides info, bug fixes, and it's just the general...well....everything sg lol. I also find "The TV Series" group very interesting. I've come across some shows there I didn't know about and that were recommended but it's also really fun to talk about my favorite shows with others who like it as well. We come up with ideas about what we think will happen next and share our opinions about the weeks episodes. If you're an avid TV watcher like myself, hop over to that group and check it out...you won't be disappointed!
Let's see what else has been going on? Well, as you know I got married a few weeks ago to @bixton 's brother...so we are officially SG family :) We haven't had our honeymoon sadly because we both work retail and of course Nov through Jan are black out dates....so we aren't planning to go until March or so. We want to go to DisneyWorld.....however funds are low so we may just end up at Disneyland (Since we can drive there)....but I'm perfectly fine with either :) Disney just makes me so happy!! Especially now since they own Marvel AND Star Wars. ^.^ Lots of toys to buy there!!! Yay!
My set The White Room is now over 1800 :) I couldn't be more happy. I'm hoping to make it another 2k set (that would make 3 ;) ). Thank you so much for the love you've all shown on it already!
Speaking of sets...I do have one more in the queue due out in Jan. It's called "Sweater Weather". I know I've talked about it in past blogs but I can't wait to show it to you. I haven't shot anything after that set. I've been really busy and really haven't been able to make my schedule match up with photographers....but I'm trying!! You'll see more from me, I promise!
The set "Sweater Weather" (which also is the name of @clove 's new set...so check that out also) was shot right after my sister passed...so it is more of a "Sad" set. Not as many smiles or as vibrant......You can feel the emotion in it...at least I hope you can.
Well, I suppose that's it for now. I've been spending what little free time I do have playing WoW....ugh...I know....But the new expansion is actually really good. I'm happy they brought WoW back to more of what gave it it's original charm. I've also been playing the new Call of Duty when I have time as well. It's really good also. I've picked up the new Dragon Age, Grand Theft and Assassin's Creed, but I haven't had time to play them yet. When I do, I'll let you all know how they are :)
