I'm in an odd mood right now. Not sure why I'm updating, not much to say. Here's some food for thought...
"Who is this who darkens counsel with words devoid of knowledge?
Brace yourself and stand up like a man; I shall put questions to you, and you must answer.
Where were you when I laid the earth's foundations?
Tell me, if you know and...

What have I been up to lately? Dating a 43 year-old Israeli woman, her name's Rebekah and she's really awesome. She's a visiting scholar helping my current boss translate stuff. Maybe I'll get some pictures of her posted on here. Trust me, she's hot. In other news, my friend made the mistake of taking me to his conservative church. I got in an arguement with...

I graduated today...but didn't walk....cap and gown cost $200 that I wasn't willing to part with. I have a four more months till I move to D.C.! I'm excited about that. I like the view of the monuments at dawn, it's...inspiring. This country needs more monuments, stuff that'll pull people together and make cities more visually appealing.
I'm in a patriotic mood, which isn't all...

I commend you for your optimism, my dear. I also wish you premature good luck in D.C. It's refreshing to see someone in Indiana who actually cares about the state of the country. However, maybe my experience has been too narrow. I do live in Terre Haute, after all. I wish I attended a school where political activism was the norm rather than the exception. Oh well, there's always grad school. I've been trying to convince Lowell that we should move to San Fransisco after we get married and finish up our degrees so I can go to UC Berkely (sp?).
Also, congratulations on graduating!! *hugs*
Take care, doll.

Fuck it, I'm moving to Maui...who's with me???
love is a very silly thing sometimes. i know a very sweet girl and this song reminds me of her and everything we have and have not shared. this song makes me feel...content/sad/comfortable/lonely/hopeful.
And so it is
Just like you said it would be
Life goes easy on me
Most of the time
And so it is
The shorter story
No love, no glory

I figured it out!
Your new user name is Ecclesiastes in Hebrew. Am I right?
(Ok, can't lie. I cheated. I googled it.)

I remember you well in the Chelsea Hotel,
you were talking so brave and so sweet,
giving me head on the unmade bed,
while the limousines wait in the street.
Those were the reasons and that was New York,
we were running for the money and the flesh.
And that was called love for the workers in song
probably still is for those of them...

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" and see how you're doing. Take care, hon.

Went to a banquet-like thing last night and met some of my favorite politicians. Can't believe I'm actually going to be part of that world in a few months. I felt like I was guest-starring on The West Wing...even though we were at some theater, it was still really classy and I got a lot of good conversation with people who are working their asses...

Stupid Andrew Jackson...I apologize for being a descendant of his (damn dumb deceased family members).
Car advice: maybe I'm biased, but go with a Honda. LOVE my Honda Accord...great mileage, and didn't get smushed in the accident Lowell was in the other day, though the other car was totaled...my muffler was embedded in her front bumper..yeah, a teenager rear-ended Lowell while talking on her cell phone. Nice, really great. Glad their insurance is taking care of it, since it's going to cost almost $2K to repair my car.
If you haven't decided yet between the two, go with the Focus. I had a Neon and it sucked, and a friend of mine had a Sunfire, and it was in shop every other week. Dodge/Pontiac is the devil.
If you decided to go with the Pontiac, then I wish the best of luck to you. You'll need it. LOL! just kiddin, I'm biased to Honda.
