Yeah, I don't care how much this affects my "cool" factor. It's still my favorite song ever.

Don't Stop Believin' by Journey
Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of...

It's quarter to three, there's no one in the place except you and me
So, set 'em up, Joe, I got a little story you oughta know
We're drinkin', my friend, to the end of a brief episode
Make it one for my baby and one more for the road
I got the routine, so drop another nickel in the machine
I'm feelin' so bad,...

Found a song that properly relates my feelings about leaving Wisconsin and the friends and family up there that I already miss. While I'm in the mood, what the fuck ever happened to class? To much trash music out there these days. Or maybe I'm just moody and depressed...

One For My Baby, And One More For The Road
Its quarter to three,
Theres no...

I'm back! Wisconsin was most excellent. Lots of fun was had and even more money was spent...can't go to a German state without lots and lots of drinking. What else is new? Absolutely nothing really.

Heading off to Wisconsin this Friday, hazaa! What's new w/me? I went to the mall yesterday and got rid of about $450 at Fossil, American Eagle, and Sak's. Yes, I dress like a prep...okay, I am very preppy but whatever, I'm a laid-back prep and that's all that matters, or all that should. I also delayed by move to D.C. until January (if not later)...

Hooray for new clothes! I'm going shopping in August when I get my Fin Aid check. I would go shopping now, but right now my money is going to more important things like bills, books, wedding stuff, and alcohol. biggrin

I think I would be scared of D.C. too...it seems to me to be an emotional wasteland. *shudders*

Well, take care hon, and have fun in Wisconson!!
illyria69:
Nah, you're a cutie-pie prep! kiss

Nothing was the matter. I was just commenting on how I always fall for my friends, hence the "why does this always happen to me." whatever

I'm very happy that you'll be here until Jan! I have a bunch of stuff going on right now where I can't really hang out, but we DEFINITELY will once that's all taken care of. Take care and I hope you're having fun in Wisconsin.

Awesome. I love surveys.

So, the thing you mentioned reading by Alan Watts seems interesting. I'll have to google it.

And, again, I'd love to hang out with you. My best nights are Thursdays and Saturdays. I believe you said those aren't good for you though. I could do a Sunday night possibly sometime.

Hey, sorry that I didn't reply sooner. I haven't been online much lately, and haven't been to SG again since before you commented.

Your ideas of what to do sound great, but I'm not sure when we'll be able to do it. I know you're moving soon (but I forget when) , so I know we need to hang out soon.

Nonspecific Thoughts

Twenty-four hour news channels remind me of high school gossips. It's funny, and sad, mostly sad.

I wonder who is going to run for President in 2008. I'm only going Republican if it's John McCain. He's the only public figure in the Republican Party who really seems like a traditional Republican rather than a religious zealot.

The $800 katana I ordered five months...

I'm envious! That sounds like so much fun.

I used to play tennis, too. I miss it.

I want to see Madagascar.

I wanted to volunteer at the zoo before, and still do, but I never have the time. I can't wait to see the new dolphin adventure. I also want to participate in the one on one experience, once they have it, come September (if I'm still living here and if I can afford it).

The news can be sad. I hate how everyone seems to focus on all the celebrity bullshit, like that's actually news. Like I give a shit about who was seen with whom, who's fucking whom, who's having whose baby...blah, blah, blah. It's all mindless drivel, yet the American public eats it up like it's Ben and Jerry's. I also think it's sad that the news so often forgets to focus on the positve side of humanity. It's all death and destruction, and so many people forget that there is beauty in the world because of all the negativity. I'm saddened and pissed off at the same time, so I mostly just watch the weather channel, because I feel like that's all I need to know on the news front most of the time...

I really want to see Madagascar. It looks like such a fun movie.

You should post a pic of your katana. Hand weapons rock. biggrin

Well, take care, doll. *hugs*

**Something for Memorial Day**

Once upon a time people cared about proper grammar and eloquence coming from their nation's leader. You should know what this is, if you don't, then find out and remember.

Fellow-Countrymen:

AT this second appearing to take the oath of the Presidential office there is less occasion for an extended address than there was at the first. Then a statement somewhat...
