wow june has been a crazy month
so the "friend" i stayed with in LA soooo totally had the wrong idea. When our friend came out with us the first day I was there i dragged her away from everyone we were with and asked her what the hell was going on. I was made to believe that I was coming out so that the three of us could stay together and the only reason I was staying with the guy was bc I couldn't stay with her bc she has cats and I am allergic to cats.
First she asks "are ya'lll..." asking if we were sleeping together! I nearly had a heart attack! It turns out that he had told her that me and him talk every day and I am soo cool and he knows me soo well. I am soo beautiful, and I have tattoos and I am "into" musicians so that works out well and I am a total party girl who knows how to have fun.
Again almost another heart attack.
I told her there was like a week where we exchanged brief emails about a certain topic but there was no way that I would talk to him on the phone everyday. My best friend and I TRY not to talk on the phone bc we hate talking on the phone.
Well needless to say the guy totally thought Iwas gonna sleep with him and he totally had the wrong idea about who I was. I was hoping that while I was out there he would show me reallly cool places only locals know about and instead he takes me to all the shopping districts.
I WORK RETAIL I DONT WANNA SHOW WHEN I TAKE TIME OFF
Then on top of it I am completely jet lagged each night and can't keep my eyes open past 1030! And he kinda mde me feel like shit about it.
The one thing that I really wanted to do was to go down to the Santa Monica Pier one evening and hang out and watch the sunset. didn't get to do that!
We did go to the Club Suicide opening night at Echoplex. It was cool but I wasn't diggin the music. I didn't dance. I just sat and people watched. an dof course we left early.
The last night was the best bc i got to see Metal Skool play. They were awesome and the crowd was awesome. Everyone was having a killer time.
I just hope the next time I get to go out to LA I go with my friends and see if they can make it more fun. The past 2 trips have been dissapointing..
