The SGB was still a good night, even if I didn't think much of the show overall. there were great moments. Fanny's routines were awesome - I liked the way she performed more in the tradition of true burlesque (ie: theatrical caricature of the 'ordinary'), and relied less on the nudity factor than many of the other girls. Unfortunately the common theme for the show as a whole (as far as I could make out) was "whoah, look...tits", which is all well and good, but seriously, for $45 and after the relentless promotion of the show as a 'burlesque' performance filled with powerful, tattooed women...it all just felt half-assed (pardon the pun).
As for the girls themselves, well they seemed nice, and looked like they were having a shitload of fun. Didn't make the show any more impressive though.
Except for Fanny...mmmm (should have seen me try dragging Em away whenever she was on stage...hahha)
