last night my store flooded (i work at a coffee shop). so after escorting all the customers out about an hour and a half before the store was going to close, we had to wait for the plummer while the water slowly started rising up. we closed the store and the drive- thru. the drive-thru line got backed up quite a bit, yet we couldnt do anything about it. side note, our store is the busiest coffee shop in the city. when people want their coffee, they want it RIGHT AWAY. let it be known that people were not happy when they couldnt get their coffee at 9 at night! so there we were, splashing around an inch of water in the lobby and the back room trying to squeegee water back into the drains after they had been cleared. mind you, this took about 3 hours and we didnt end up leaving until about midnight. i honestly thought it would take longer but im just glad we got it cleaned out. the best part was that it was all girls working. we were doing the dirty work... GIRL POWER!

other than that, life is pretty alright lately. passed my dreaded math class i was certain i was going to fail. that means only 1 more semester left until i can transfer to a university! ive been at community college for 4 years now! currently looking into a few schools at the moment. FIDM is actually at the top of my list but im still a bit unsure. either way im excited to finally transfer. its about time! i need to leave this place!

seeing inglorious basterds tonight if things go according to plan (which rarely happens). tarantino is probably my favorite director of all time. just judging from the reviews it sounds amazing, but tarantino usually is never a disappointment. im so excited!
