Four days after our casual studio shoot on Sunday and there's over 100 photos on Flickr. My mini-set by Rodolfo came out nicely. He always makes me look great, plus I love black and white. I still can't believe I licked my bass.
Between moving a friend to London, Ontario and the shoot, I completely missed the convention this weekend. Next year.
After a long talk with one of my friends, I finally have a better deadline for my first song release. I have to learn all about my keystation controller, motif, and cubase, and then write a song and produce it. So three months to get the basics, then another three months to get some tracks laid out and tweaked, and then I'll have a release on my wonderful myspace music page. I'm excited!
I also have a few more ideas on places I'd like to move to. I'm being evicted, out by December 1st, for repairs in this dump I live in. I'm trying to keep it under $800 and tolerably small, but tonight I saw an ad for a newer building downtown with ensuite laundry, rec facilities, security, dishwasher, air conditioning, all for around $850 and up. It's right near the Eaton Centre as well. This round of apartment hunting is just like shopping. I only have to give two weeks notice as per the eviction notice, so I have time to shop!
Had a quiet night here at home. Too quiet. Time to head to bed and start it all over again tomorrow.
