I'm SO not getting hired...
So, there's this job down here that'd be pretty much the perfect job for me right now. I had Jeremy write down what I was saying for the application, because I've been sick and the thought of exerting heavy brainpower makes me fall over. Anyway, one of the questions we were joking around and I didn't realize that we hadn't changed the answer before we handed it in..

Our stupidity, in all its glory:

7. Do you consider yourself spiritually conscious, and if so, why?
Yes, of course.

I'm not a 'typical hippy', I haven't done much yoga or chakra
balancing, but I have a deep feeling of connectedness with nature in
the northwest; down here, I've been feeling a lack of connection - all
the nature seems to be heavily landscaped by underpaid Mexicans.

I'm so not getting hired for this job! We're going to send in an addendum today with the real answer, and my resume. *shakes head* Is it bad that I find this funny?

So, sounds like the Capitalists got to Tir Na Nog finally; so sad.

Don't feel too bad; we've all gone through those bad periods. I remember one time not getting a job because I talked way too much smile Also, I can understand your spiritual connection to the NorthWest; I've got the same thing for Wisconsin and Ireland. Unfortunately I'm in Alaska right now, and have a feeling of being largely untethered as a result. It sucks.
