if you didn't answer before answer now:
what's a song that reminds you of me and why?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i've a lot i need to do in my life. 1 being FIND A NEW JOB. now i know what you're thinking, "hey you JUST started", well hear me out.
i'm gonna try and work at Circle K. they are hiring and if i get up early enough tomorrow/today/Wednedsay i'm gonna talk to the manager. if there's an opening i'll tell them i wanna start off part time, but if they guarantee me hours, i'd have no problems leaving JD.
so that check i knew i was supposed to get monday was there when i got into work tonight. apparently the a-hole manager left the package from payroll under a counter monday morning, and they didnt find it til today.
so i got my check, but it was only $65!!!! even the manager who got it out of the safe noticed it was low. so he should be fixing it when he gets into work today(Wednesday).
with all the issues i've delt with, the fact that no one seems to know or give a shit about anything except the god damn food, and simply because i'm not getting enough hours, i'm looking for a 2nd job.
this is how i think jobs should go:
SPOILERS! (Click to view)
EMPLOYER=anyone at prospective job, managers, etc.
PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE/EMPLOYEE= me.
prospective employee inquires about open position, either in person or over the phone.
employeer informs prospective employee that there is an opening.
prospective employee gives appropriate resume/application to employeer asap.
employer then tells them they will be contacted for an interview, or schedules one at that time.
after said interview, if the employeer decides to hire prospective employee, they then become employee.
employer discusses required uniform, documents, etc. that employee needs to start work on a specific set date and time. hours per week, pay days and days employee will receive schedule, etc. should have been discussed at or sometime before this point. the employer 100% follows these days and agreements, as does employee.
employee 100% follows their schedule, and performs required job duties accurately.
when employee starts job they will come in on time, and will be thoroughly trained by someone who will train employee right. employee learns what they need to at a quick pace, and then continues to work, and advance over time. any required reviews/tests/etc. will be done in an organized manor so that employee may continue to advance in company.
and finally employer should not act like a jackass.
none of those things have happened smoothly with JD except for what i've done. and no i'm not exagerating.
