up until the last paycheck everyone else got(i haven't worked long enough to get one) pay day has been every other monday. i went to a meeting saturday at 8am, durring which they said that pay day would be changing to every other friday. to make things easier on all of us, they said we'd be getting early paychecks. we all got a little paper saying exactly this:

PAYDAY SCHEDULE CHANGE
DATES YOU WILL BE PAID

MONDAY SEPT 11(PAY FOR 1 WEEK)
FRIDAY SEPT 15(PAY FOR 4 DAYS)
FRIDAY SEPT 29 (PAY FOR 2 WEEKS)

so i was all happy about getting paid today, since in addition to that paper it was thoroughly explained to us we would get a check today. (and if you look at the dates mathematically i should have something today, this friday, and 2 weeks from friday)

so i go in, the only non-manager working was a girl who caught the last 5 minutes of the meeting so she had no clue about this, and there were 3 managers who were all at the meeting. not only could NO ONE give me a straight answer and walked away from me, when i went to the office one manager said "we[managers] don't get paid the same way so i don't really pay attention to that" another manager said that the dates on the paper probably reflected days that they would send in our hours and that i'd be getting paid friday. but when i explained to him what was explained at the meeting, and that we were told this was so we wouldn't have to wait longer to have money because they were changing paydays, and pointed at the paper, he said well actually i really don't know, we don't know til payroll sends things but i'll call you if something comes in. its 4pm, banks close at like 5 or 6pm. and he also said that paychecks don't usually come til after 3pm. so yay once we start getting paid friday i'm gonna have a helluva time cashing my check.

GRAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is everyone fucking stupid? really. i don't get why everyone in that goddamn place can't be on the same page. at least somewhat. i never get a straight answer for anything! and yet they expect me to operate the same as someone who has been there longer than a week.

so now since i drunkenly blew money this weekend, i don't think i'll have enough for anything this week, and if i don't get a check til this friday sometime after 3pm, i won't have money til next week.

P.S. yes i'm on my period. but still!

P.P.S. the singer of 30 Seconds to Mars IS Jared Leto!!! i heard them 4 years ago, but i caught some of their stuff on TV a month or so ago and i was like "hey that guy looks like Jared, and i know he's in a band, but is that him?" and it is! so yay hotness and singing and yum!
