so my home page when i open up Firefox is Google but it's not normal Google. Now Google allows you to put Content on your search page. They are basically little boxes of everything imaginable. The categories are: News, Tools, Communication, Fun & Games, Finance, Sports, Lifestyle, and Technology.
On MY home page I have: ErosBlog: The Sex Blog, Disinformation, Weather, Buddhist Though of the Day, Horoscope, NPR News, IMDb, Wikipedia, Dictionary.com, Bablefish translator, Wired News, Social Psychology Network, Rolling Stone Music News, eBaumsworld.com, Nasa's Earth Observatory news, a Magic 8- Ball, and Pacman. All of this on one page, and it's small enough so i don't have to scroll down more than once. It's great. The best thing about it tho, is i have NPR news at the top so I actually keep up to date at least on the headlines.
Well 2 things of interest happened recently.
1) Pluto is no longer a planet. Read the story here...
and
2) The Morning After Pill was aproved for over the counter use by the FDA. I'm pretty damn pasionate about birth control and sexual education being easily available. SO this makes me happy. I do have to say that while I hope everyone who reads this is educated about what the morning after pill IS. a lot of people think that it's an abortion pill, and it's not, is just extra strength birth-control. i don't want to fill up my blog with all the details but if you want to know more read the article or go to Planned Parenthood's website(i'd suggest going there anyways if you're having any sort of sex, you might learn something important, especially those of you who are telling yourself right now you don't need to check it out).
