Art to Go? AMAZING.
I got 2 pieces of art, a small painted square that will go very well below the lightswitch painting from last year and a great big 8'X4' figure study in lovely pink-ish tones. LOVE IT. It will go soooooo well in my bed room. Ahhhh the benefits of having 17' celings, LOL. Now i just need to find a ladder to put it up with, LOL.
The silent auction pieces went up to $200, $600, and $800, respectivily. A new record! Last year the highest one went was around $500. I'm so happy.
I got TONS of pics of the event, and even more of the Wall and Center Project. Construction and showing, LOL. I think Justine got some of me during my speech, too, LOL. I'll post picture tomorrow, or when i've gotten some sleep O_o
Oh, and my photos went! I even got requests for 3 sets of prints! Whoo! It was so great to see my artwork on a gallery wall, people discussing it and wanting to take it home. With so many wonderful professional artists there and so many beautiful pictures, it was just such a happy moment for me.
