I would post the lyrics of songs that are getting stuck in my heart, in that way where the tune and the words come together and cut into me in that way that makes me think of loves long lost, of dreams and failures, things that make me feel- that bring me to the brink of tears (I've been far too conditioned to give those up freely) or that inspire me to think that life isn't nearly as bad as the despondent dreads of mine would lead me to believe. Those songs that may never be on a critics 'must buy CD of 2005!' list, but that for one reason or another, are the perfect piece of music to suit where I am in my life at this given moment. The kind of thing you need to close you eyes to and just let it move your body in that way when you push yourself to the brink of losing control completely...sort of like love itself I guess. Which I guess could be part of why I can't do it justice to post the lyrics by themselves, because I don't think some ham-fisted hack like me at a keyboard can adequately capture the exact way that it feels like in matters that rely so much on the heart, be it in song, witnessing a moment of perfect beauty, or in things like love.
