Today was such a cool day at work. Sure, I was tired from staying out and playing settlers of Catan until 1 am, and I woke up earlier than anticipated this morning. The boss is grooming me to be the guy who's like the go-to guy for the new comic rack, which so far means that I get to make my own call (more or less)when it comes to re-arranging the racks for the new weekly books. I also get to do stuff like picking out older graphic novels and such to complement the new weekly books. I was doing my task for most of the day, and I was just about wrapping up when he told my co-worker to bring in the signs and close up. Today went by so quickly, it was cool. I also get to take a sneak peek at the new books the day before they're officially out, which is kinda cool. I get to borrow books, which helps out in the product knowledge department, but is cool cause I get to read stuff that I wouldn't normally buy. I also made a quick pit-stop at one of the art stores close to work and looked into getting a light-box, which would be really cool to get.
