Just had a somewhat surreal experience a few moments ago. I was sitting in my living room area on the phone, when I heard someone outside shuffling and walking about, which is sort of out of the ordinary because I am the only person in this section of the building on this floor. Then the door opens (I didn't lock it, something I don't think will happen again) And this guy takes a step in and looks kind of confused, my first response is a loud "What the fuck" as I toss the phone onto the couch, and walk towards this guy telling him he's got the wrong place and needs to leave NOW. He doesn't seem to understand this, so a hearty shove and a slammed door in his face are his free gift from me. I click the deadbolt shut, and the guy decides now is time to make his stand, so he hits my door a few times, so I let him know that if he doesn't fuck right off, I'm calling the cops. I think it might be a scary sign that in the face of a confrontation like that, my heart didn't even kick a few beats beyond my initial surprise.
