We are off to Florida tomorrow. Hopefully the drive will go smoothly and the children will be happy and my husband will not stress too much. Family vacations are always difficult for him. He is not used to being with the kids all day everyday. Honestly, I think he is glad to return to work.
But I never give up the hope that it will be fun. Because of course we have to make it fun. Travelling with children is just a whole different ball game than laying around on the beach for you vacation. But then, I have never travelled without at least one child in tow and he has been all over Europe, Greece, Mexico and other places all by himself. So we have slightly different expectations I think!
Anyway, I'll be back in a week and a half or so.
While I'm gone, here is my new favorite joke for you:
ME: Knock knock.
YOU: Who's there?
ME: Control freak. Okay, now you say "Control freak who?"
Leave me a joke to come home to if you can. I may need a laugh after this vacation.
