Quick update....
Been very busy. Got our blood drawn. Should find out this week if we have lead poisoning to deal with. Cross your fingers!
It's my first child's 9th b-day today! Big party tonight. Lots of cleaning to do today, and an icecream cake to make. Chocolate cake on the bottom, then B&J chocolate therapy icecream, chocolate cake, vanilla bean ice cream and topped with whipped cream and chocolate spinkles. Yum!
I got her 3 hermit crabs I am so excited to give her. Hubby got her an ipod shuffle. We got her ears peirced and her little brothers got her earrings. She was so brave! she didn't even flinch! I was impressed and she said it didn't even hurt! Also 3 books and a little weird electronic aqua pet toy.
My 2nd child (3 3/4) has had a fever so poor thing is stuck in front of the TV today while I get ready for the party. Maybe I will take a nap with him later, I was up way too late wrapping presents.
Birthdays are such a production. but I love it.
Sat. we went to an open house at the quarry my dad works at. Giant Trucks, big rocks being crushed into little rocks, climbing in huge tires, bus tour, crafts, potato chips... the kids were exstatic!
