. The poem is really good, but one small suggestion: Change "morphine-like" to something else. "like" really lessens the impact of the idea of numbness/"morphine"; its as if you are saying it is "sort of like being on morphine" (not it is the emotional equivilant of being on morphine...which was the point, I assume) Try an emotionally related word in place of "like", i.e. "emotionally morphinic phase"....okay, thats a bad example, but you probably get the idea. Unless your really stoned again, it sounds like your doing a lot of proverbial running in place. You say stuff like "...so it goes on..." and "But its ok...." a whole lot through out this entry, even though it sounds like you are actually bothered by the things that are happening in your life. Perhaps some introspection/meditation on whatever is bothering you might do some good, no? Ah well, whatever. Keep your chin up, kid. 
Do have something that you'd like to tell her that you haven't? For example, have you not told her to her face what impact she had on your life? Perhaps that would help you miss her a lot less...unless I totaly misread that, and wasted your time...if I did, sooorrryy :blushes:
