You know, I always think people are changing their profile pics, but I can't be sure because I guess I'm not that observant. I know you changed yours to include the new piercing ... but you changed it more than once before you decided on that shot, didn't you? Either that, or I'm seeing things again. Gotta cut down on that coffee!

It looks fabulous, by the way. Maybe I'll get a new tattoo or piercing or something when I go on vacation next month. My piercing guy just got sentenced to 6 years in the state penn, so I would have to find someone new anyway. *sigh*

There's areas on like Melrose and Sunset i could walk around for hours!! - traffic sucks but anywhere in SoCal's gotta deal with that issue!! theres pros and cons to everything i guess?

You know I don't think I can answer my own questions. I have been playing in bands since I was 12 years old. I have probably played 10,000 different songs. When I try to pick just a few I just can't do it. I am going to do a lot of research to find the play list for this band. Thanks for your answers. If you ever have songs pop in your head that you love from those eras let me know what they are.

Cornholio always makes me laugh. Always, no matter what. And for some reason, one espresso drink doesn't have an effect on my boyfriend; give him a second one and he'll be up all night, writing songs, making tee shirt graphics, eating pizza rolls, running laps around the parking lot, etc. Maybe men can't handle their caffeine

I say go for the monroe--it'd look good on you. If you don't like it, you can always take it out and probably only have a tiny scar that would be coverable with makeup. If you do it, see if your hubby will take pics of you while its being done--nothing like needles sticking out of your face to freak people out later.

I'm the opposite of you and Charitee...I have moved a few times in my life, but all within the same five county area in Minnesota... I guess I just don't like the thought of moving away from "home". I like knowing where things are, and even if I don't know the area I'm in, I know that a few turns will bring me back to where I am confortable.
I do dig travelling some, for work...and seeing some new things, but I'm a hometown girl and I don't think I'll change much in that respect.

I realize I have not left a comment the last couple times I dropped by. I think I read your post and start feeling ... insecure!

Or at least I realize how much I hate the feeling of insecurity. It is second only to feeling foolish. But like you, I'm guess I'm not sure I know what exactly makes me feel secure. I would have said a man ... but I haven't had a decent relationship in over 10 years and I haven't felt too insecure ... mostly more when they ARE around on that one.

I would say money ... but I have none of that.

I have lived in the same city all my life, but I did move a lot so I'm not sure there was much security there.

I used to think it was my family, but then my parents both died and I survived that.

It must be me ... the internal workings that just decide whether or not my perceptions are sane or insane, trust or fear based, etc. Man, that is bad news on some days, I'm sure.

So how was the weekend? Did you sell your house yet?

i know it sucks having to share a computer sometimes...husband is home all day alone with the computer and i feel bad getting on sometimes because thats our time together. but like now im on while he is cooking dinner...

To be honest ... if I were you having to give the news to your hubby, I woulda said it like this, "Hon ... remember how we fretted over how much it was gonna cost to get granny taken care of in that nursing home? Well ...."
