Oh MAN - I love living in LA!
This past Friday, I stopped for a caffeine fix at this place called Buzz Coffee up on the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights. I got the giggles at the fact that the two surfer boys working that day had Motley Crue playing over the speaker system. I'm telling you - I felt like I was having a high school flashback when their remake of "Smokin in the Boys Room" came on.
So, being that Buzz is right next to a Virgin Megastore, I was overcome with the urge to trot myself on in and pick up a copy of the Motley Crue greatest hits CD. Then - I drive over to pick up my friend to go and grab a *really* late breakfast at The Griddle Cafe (also on Sunset), rockin away to the track "Wild Side"....and when we arrive - who's already there knocking back some coffee and chomping on a massive pancake?
None other than Tommy Lee. In case there might be someone that doesn't know who that is, he happens to be Motley Crue's drummer.
TOO fucking funny
I have, however, discovered one big downside to this city.
The drivers.
I tell you - people around here........let's just say that I REALLY want to stop my car, haul them out of their Hummer/Ferrari/Viper/Jaguar, yank their cell phone out of their hand, and beat them about their head and neck with it.
Mention the term "Right of Way" to these dillholes and you will get a blank stare.
Makes a girl wish for machine guns mounted to her front bumper
