Sooooo.........

I finally, ACTUALLY found myself an apartment.

Which makes me feel like this:




It's a little pricey - but it's in West Hollywood, has gated parking, is in a great neighborhood, and is the perfect transitional place for a girl looking to move forward with her life. It's in walking distance to pretty much everything - which is VERY good because that way I can keep up my frequent walking and shedding the last of my midwestern girl pudge.
It's all paid for, and I move in on Friday the 17th of this month.

Also - the Pride festivities take place in West Hollywood - we are expecting something like 300,000 visitors, and a couple of the major roads will be closed off for various parades and such.
I'm really excited about being here for this - it's reputedly the biggest, loudest, brashest Gay Pride shindig in the country, and it shoud be a lot of fun.
One thing I am, however, a bit confused about.....
Paris Hilton is going to be the Grand Marshall for the Main parade.

Umm....isn't she....like........straight???
