Which brings us to this whole 80's resurgance. Polo shirts with the collars up....chain belts made of metal hoops....dropped-waist mini-skirts....Big Hair...

I've heard that when it comes to "retro fashion" - there is one simple rule to bear in mind:

"If you wore it *then*, do NOT wear it *now*".

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'm kind of torn. I know that most of us around here tend to snort condescendingly at this sort of mainstream trend.....but it's along the same lines as the whole "What, exactly, is..and is NOT....*age appropriate* when it comes to your look?" concept.

Me personally - I tend to pretty much disregard that sort of guideline.

What do you think?

I admit it, I say rad all the damn time. And dude is a regular part of the vocabulary as well. What can I say, I've lived in Southern Cali since I was 3. The whole retro 80's look is really gettin to me! All these shit kids look the same. They're so busy tryin to be different, all the while lookin like a bunch of cloned sheep! Wait till you get to Hollywood. You're gonna fuckin puke ! It's sad! How about some originality for once! I dig people with their own style. Trends are for pussy kids who need to be accepted by tyhe mainstream. I say grow a pair already!

80's nite at one of the clubs is just a fashion disaster if your 43 DON'T wear a pink polo with a sweater tied around your neck eeek it was horrible *then* and now and yes i do remember when this song came out. But kids dressing like Robert Smith are a hoot biggrin
